Who is the artist?
“Hi, my name is Susan Hassmann. Ever since I could hold a pen, I’ve been painting & drawing. Beautiful women in beautiful dresses were my favorite motif at that time; so it seemed obvious to me to become a fashion designer. A great job – but for my taste there was far too little painting and drawing.
I first switched to textile design and then gained my experience in an advertising agency. There I discovered the illustration for me! It was like love at first sight: I always wanted to do that! Since this realization I have been working as a freelance illustrator.
I still like to illustrate beautiful women and am still very fashion-conscious. Therefore, my clients often come from the beauty, cosmetics and fashion sectors.”
